How to create a Claude or ChatGPT share link
SharePDF only works with public share URLs. Here’s how to create one in each app, then turn it into a PDF.
Public share links only — nothing is stored on our servers.
Claude
- Open the conversation on claude.ai.
- Click Share and create a public link.
- Copy the URL that looks like claude.ai/share/…
- Paste it into SharePDF and click Make PDF.
ChatGPT
- Open the chat in ChatGPT.
- Use Share to create a public share link.
- Copy the chatgpt.com/share/… or chat.openai.com/share/… URL.
- Paste it into SharePDF to preview and download.
Important
Private chats without a share link cannot be read. If someone revokes sharing, the export will stop working — download the PDF while the link is still public.
